Our coaching model is based upon NACADA's model of "Advising as Coaching". This model is driven by guiding questions that encourage students to take responsibility for the process of developing, refining, and engaging in their own decision-making and planning activities that also include preparation for academic advising and degree planning.
Practices are also based on positive psychology, the study of what goes ‘right’ in one’s life. Coaches use an asset-based approach in order to promote students strengths and improve areas for growth. Our coaches will help you identify your own learning strengths, develop goals, manage your time for success and help you navigate college, whether you are on-campus or learning remotely!
