Week 11, Fall 2023: Discover How You Use/Misuse Time
ACE Study Tip of the Week
1. Study difficult (or boring) subjects first
While you are fresh & most alert, tackle those difficult courses first. Your most creative energy will be expended where it is needed the most. Save your more enjoyable subjects for later.
2. Avoid lengthy study sessions
It’s best to study in shorter sessions. Three 50-minute sessions are more productive for students than one nine-hour session. When studying in longer sessions, take a 10-minute break after each 50 minutes. Cross-train on several subjects, avoid studying similar subjects back-to-back.
3. Become aware of your prime time to study
Morning, noon, evening, or night – you decide.
Good luck,
